How can we help?

The Use Case Repository is maintained by Kereval with the support of IHE-Europe. It provides a free, centralized repository that brings together healthcare interoperability use cases from national programmes, European projects, and other initiatives into a single shared resource. Its purpose is to avoid duplication of effort, encourage reuse of existing work, and foster collaboration across the European interoperability community. By sharing and building upon existing use cases, stakeholders can accelerate implementation, improve consistency, and learn from one another. The repository is open to contributions. Organizations wishing to submit a new use case are encouraged to do so. Each submission is reviewed to ensure it aligns with the repository’s scope, avoids unnecessary duplication, and provides value to the wider community before being published.

What is a Realisation scenario?

While solving the same functional problem, the constraints mentioned in a use case may impose different technical solutions. A realisationscenario describes one of the possible solutions, taking these requirements into account. As a consequence, some use cases may lead to more than one realisation
scenario. Realisation scenarios can be linked to specific interoperability Standards and Profiles.

What is a use case?

This is a functional description of the interactions between the participants in a process, for a certain purpose. The description is on a level that is independent of country specific legal or regulatory requirements, and of architectural choices.
